My lungs have collapsed from cries unheard ,
And my heart runs black as anguish turns.
My throat is blistered from the endless shout,
Loss of pride, broken life, tortured by doubt.
Ridicule comes quick to the indpendent mind,
Corruption reigns, humanity left behind.
Always turned my shoulder to a world gone mad,
bitter goodbyes to everything I had.
As I choke on words left unsaid
the battle rages alone again.
Desolate. I'm destined to be alone.
A motive adored, morality ostracized.
Ignorance spreads, the blind leading the blind.
While Solitude roams we desperately try to find,
but human is scum: endlessly dissatisfied.
What's backwards isn't fiction,
Losing all sense of conviction.
The dying hope sheds its last wish. An altered mindset can't repair,
How can you trust what isn't there?
Morality's a fallacy: delusion's bliss.
